NBC is cashing in on the popularity of 90-year old actress, Betty White and will air Betty White’s 90th Birthday: A Tribute to America’s Golden Girl on January 16th at 8pm. The event was taped this weekend in Hollywood and featured celebrities from Mary Tyler Moore, Tina Fey, Morgan Freeman, Ellen DeGeneres, Seth Meyers, just to name a few. A modest Betty told reporters, “Don’t give me any credit.I didn’t do anything to get to be 90. It just happened. I didn’t accomplish anything. It just came up on me.”

Insiders are saying the moment of the night came when Chuck star, Zachary Levi, kissed Ms. White. Later

New Girl is the latest American import to hit our screens and is one that has grabbed people’s attention across the Atlantic as well as here.

The ten-episode sitcom features a small main cast comprising of 500 Days of Summer actress, Zooey Deschanel, Jake Johnson (No Strings Attached), Max Greenfield (Ugly Betty) and rising stars, Lamorne Morris and Hannah Simone.

The number 10 has been a hot digit on the Cape Fear dining scene.

Four Wilmington restaurants midtown’s Indochine, downtown’s Caprice Bistro and Le Catalan and Lumina Station‘s Port Land Grille all celebrated a decade in business within the past year. Longevity, however, does not guarantee continued success.

After 28 years in business, Wilmington’s Mai Tai, 4121 Oleander Drive, closed on Oct. 30.

For many years, Mai Tai was an Asian buffet.

Actress EMMY ROSSUM was left outraged when a mountain lion trespassed on her Hollywood Hills property and started drinking from her pool during the holidays.

Rather than feel fear or wonder as she watched the big cat slurp, the native New Yorker got angry and tried to shoo the creature away.

The Phantom of the Opera star says, “I was sitting in my back yard… and there’s this clearing… and there was a mountain lion that came walking through the clearing and was drinking out of my pool.

“I didn’t have the fear instinct; I had the New York ‘outraged’ instinct. I was like, ‘What the hell are you doing?
